Jane Bevan Nature Sculptures
Bring a touch of the natural world into your home with these charming hand-crafted small sculptures from Derbyshire based artist, Jane Bevan.
Each piece is entirely unique and is created using natural and found materials, including bark, thorns, and twigs, which Jane gathers on daily walks in local woodlands. She carefully selects her materials and then uses traditional techniques of tying, stitching, twining, coiling and binding to make small sculptures and vessels.
The four Small Bark Vessels on the grey wooden base can be moved around to change their order to your taste.
The Foraged Nature Wall Jewellery (right of Image 1) features Welsh poppy seed heads, found feathers, acorn cups, pine needles, vine tendrils and thorns, and can be hung with a small discrete nail or hook into the wall.

Jane Bevan is an artist using natural and found materials, and has a passion for English woodlands and spends much of her time walking, sketching and collecting materials outdoors. Some of her favourite places to explore are Calke Park in Derbyshire and Grinshill in Shropshire. Jane hopes to imbue her work with something of the essence and atmosphere of these places, through the materials, textures, colour and forms. Each piece of her work has a narrative of time spent exploring and being part of the landscape, as well as memories, stories and a sense of wonder at the beauty of nature.
