Keep your notes handy in these cheerful stitched textile notebook covers from Janie Knitted Textiles.
Available in A5 or smaller A6 size, each notebook cover features a notebook with lined paper included, which can then be removed and the textile cover easily slipped onto another notebook of the same size.
The images here show an A5 size in yellow, and an A6 size in blue, both with Jane's original 'Treeline' free stitched embroidery design onto merino wool fabric.
The cover is hand-wash only and includes a smart black cotton lining with elastic tie.
ABOUT THE MAKER: Jane is a textile artist with expertise in knitted textiles, working from her studio in Worksop with partner Michael. Jane constructs dynamic abstract relief designs, which pay tribute to colour schemes and shapes of the 50’s. Using traditional hand flat knitting and embroidery techniques she transforms knitted textiles into bags, scarves and interior accessories. Reused and recycled/surplus knitted fabrics are combined with soft knit textures in merino lambswool and organic wools to enhance the natural theme of her textiles.
