Rachel Sumner Piebald Pigeon Driftwood Bird
This fabulously fun pigeon is handcrafted by the incredibly talented Rachel Sumner.
It is comprised of driftwood and found objects including bits of old tools, they are handprinted in Rachel's unique style! A really quirky addition to anyone wall!
The bird has a small hook on the back from which it hangs.
Rachel currently lives on the North Devon coast, being a collector by nature gave rise to her making her flock of driftwood birds. The winter storms provide her with materials and summer is when you can find her in the shed assembling these fabulous fowl. Other elements have recently started too creep in from the bottom of the old tool and sewing boxes, all part of the jetsam of life, which is what she finds so fascinating.
This incredible pigeon measures 290mm in width, 165mm in hight and has a depth of 60mm
