Complement your style with a stitched textile pouch/purse, created from handmade knitted fabrics by Janie Knitted Textiles.

These beautiful accessories are perfect to use as a makeup bag or as a pencil case and are knitted on a range of hand flat knitting machines in Jane's studio, which she uses to create unique and lovingly handmade fabrics. Jane prefers to use natural fibres such as merino wool, linen and cotton and is currently using yarns from UK suppliers only.

Each pouch features Jane's signature stitched Treeline design, a soft black wool wrist strap, and a black and white polka dot lining inside.

Please note that these items are hand-wash or dry clean only.

ABOUT THE MAKER: Jane is a textile artist with expertise in knitted textiles, working from her studio in Worksop with partner Michael. Jane constructs dynamic abstract relief designs, which pay tribute to colour schemes and shapes of the 50’s. Using traditional hand flat knitting and embroidery techniques she transforms knitted textiles into bags, scarves and interior accessories. Reused and recycled/surplus knitted fabrics are combined with soft knit textures in merino lambswool and organic wools to enhance the natural theme of her textiles.
