Frances Noon Mini Sculptures - Horses & Donkey

Send a token of love to wing its way to someone special with this mini brass sculpture by talented maker Frances Noon.

Frances uses her printmaking etching skills and her rolling mill, as well as drawing on the metal surface with a hammer & punch to make individual animals, which are then presented on a painted wooden base.​

ABOUT THE MAKER: Originally a printmaker, Frances Noon started making silver jewellery in the 1990’s. Her interest in working primarily with metal has gradually exceeded the printed image, however she now applies the same skills and interests in drawing, acid etching and use of textures to her silver and metal work - now just on a smaller scale. Frances has recently been exploring the use of base metals, such as brass and copper, to create mini animal sculptures as an extension of her jewellery and printmaking.
