ABOUT THE MAKER

Hester has a BA (hons) in Illustration and works from her studio in Horton-in-Ribblesdale. Her colourful and richly textured limited-edition collagraph prints reflect her appreciation of the natural landscape and are often inspired by things that she sees whilst out fellrunning. Hester enjoys working in a very detailed way and may use up to five or six plates to create one image. Collagraph and photopolymer are her preferred methods and she often combines these to create one richly coloured and textured print.
