Melanie Wickham Lino Print - 'Hothouse'

A gardener's dream, this monochrome lino print by printmaker Melanie Wickham, depicts a treasure trove of cacti, flowers and grape vines, all housed snugly in a lovely glass greenhouse.

Melanie hand carves all her lino blocks from her original designs, which are used to create a series of hand pulled original lino prints onto Somerset Satin paper.

This print is number 2 from a limited edition of 100 and is numbered and signed by the artist on the front.

The print is unmounted and comes backed with card and cello-wrapped.

ABOUT THE MAKER: Melanie Wickham is a lino printer based in Bristol.
Trained as an Illustrator at the end of last century, she has been carving out lino hares, cats, spiders and otters ever since. Melanie has exhibited extensively in her own postcode area as well as in galleries and exhibitions around the UK and has printed on many things – from lovely printmaking papers to walls, curtains and pairs of pants.
